By creating an account or using Acuency you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acuency offers English learning tools including AI practice, progress tracking, messaging, scheduling, shared lesson notebooks, and optional live video lessons between students and teachers. Features may change as we improve the product.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Teachers are not employees of Acuency; student–teacher relationships and payments are arranged between those parties (for example via Wise).

Acuency does not take a platform commission on tutor lessons. Any hourly rates, Wise transfers, or refunds are between student and teacher. AI usage may be rate-limited to protect shared costs.

You agree not to:

• Harass others or share illegal / harmful content
• Attempt to break into, scrape, or overload the service
• Misrepresent your identity or role (student vs teacher)
• Use AI features to generate spam or abusive material at scale

AI feedback is assistive, not a guarantee of correctness or exam success. Do not rely on it as professional legal, medical, or immigration advice.

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Acuency is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between students and teachers.

You may stop using Acuency at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or put the platform at risk.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
